Menehune

We didn’t see any actual Menehune while visiting Hawai’i, but this was a rare one that we found in Ko Olina. This was a part of the vacation photo challenge where Jon gave me 5 things to photograph while traveling around O’ahu.

Menehune are creatures that are legend in Hawai’i. They would come out at night and do things like build a road or fishpond. Other times they would use arrows to change an angry person into a happier one. We could probably use them on the mainland too!
